Must See in Michigan

I'm a dreamer. I love to dream about far off places that I will someday hopefully travel to. The heart of this desire is landscapes. I love landscape photography; I love the places you get to visit, the early mornings and late nights, the challenges when weather or landscapes don't cooperate, and the thrill of capturing an amazing spot in an inspiring photo. I have a list of places I want to photograph, some including Yosemite, Zion, the Grand Canyon, etc. All of these places are a long ways away from Michigan. One day, when my wanderlust was especially heavy, I came to the realization: Michigan is beautiful. I have a beautiul state in my own backyard, yet despite my whole life living here, have explored little of it. That's when I decided to create my Michigan Bucketlist, places I want to visit in Michigan that don't require a costly plane ticket.

This map consists of 30+ places to visit, a list that will definitely grow as I discover new places. This list focuses on the natural beaty of Michigan, and also are potential spots for landscape photography. For now the list includes:

  • Maybury State Park
