Coalesced – Medium Format Photo Series

I didn’t intend this to be a photo series. Me and my friend David were exploring an abandoned building in Traverse City. There was so much to take in, so many shots I wanted to take. What was best about the whole shoot is the fall colors that fight but also compliment the vibrant color of the graffiti. It was interesting to me how the natural and the manmade can meld so well sometimes, even if it wasn’t designed to. This series was shot on a single roll of Fuji Pro 400h with a Mamiya RB67

A while ago my Grandma handed me a giant box of old Kodachrome Slide Film. It was a giant metal box with individual slots, paired with a cardboard box piled with old Kodachrome photos from family vacations and everyday life from decades ago.
